At OLVG in Amsterdam, we recently took over the power supply temporarily during scheduled maintenance — without interruptions and without any risk to patient care.

We fed in at 10,000 volts via a temporary setup and an open field at the hospital. The grid takeover was performed synchronously, ensuring the hospital remained fully operational. With our Wireless Synchronization Box, we were able to capture a reference voltage over a long distance and take over synchronously. Safe, reliable, and uninterrupted. Two additional 1500 kVA generators were on standby for maximum security.
